(PM) Preventative Maintenance – Routine troubleshooting and devised solutions for Condition Monitoring Equipment to ensure reliable systems. Validate TILs with OEM and updates recommended by OEM for optimal performance. Validate transducer systems and configuration to be correct matching systems for accurate data going back for data collection
Condition Monitoring System Preventative Maintenance Program - Planned outages to validate rack health and transducer system linearity. Update firmware & incorporate TILs based on OEM recommendation. Function test points to validate DCS communication. Loop check points to validate continuity and good system. Ability to connect to Bently Nevada to perform configuration changes, rack checkout, and relay logic. Replace faulty monitor cards on the run. Troubleshoot Bently’s health from visual inspection. Place bypasses/remove bypasses for points requested. Validate communication with System 1 and verify data is not locked up. Document faulty monitor cards and perform Return Merchandise Authorization process for acceptable parts needing to be replaced within warranty. Get Bently Nevada into OK status to correct start permissive for a successful startup. Troubleshooting Transducer System -Troubleshoot transducer system and conduct troubleshooting steps to replace probe, extension cable, and or proximitor. Document faulty instrumentation and perform Return Merchandise Authorization process for acceptable parts needing to be replaced within warranty. Check grounding for transducer system. Replace probe, extension cable, or proximitor to get monitor in OK status. Site Inventory and Fleet Management - All this information and data will be compiled into a unique document specifically created for the customer/site. Using pivot tables, all this information will be easily and readily accessible for the customer and TVS alike, eliminating any confusion about what instrumentation is utilized for what asset. It will only take seconds to find a single point on a specific asset and see the entire transducer set. This will help with the accuracy of ordering parts in the future and getting parts out of stores to replace instrumentation in the field. The goal is to, over time, have all transducer information, along with all the hardware information (monitors/cards, I/O modules, etc) catalogued for each asset and rack to aid in the fleet management program. Walk Route Data Collection and Vibration Analysis - This is a smart, proactive method of caring for your equipment and allows us to work in conjunction with the customer to create a machinery protection program that focuses on identifying faults ahead of time. This critical information gives us a timeline for the life of the equipment in service and allows you to plan for when repairs can be made instead of being reactive to a surprise failure of a critical asset. By planning and being ready, this will undoubtedly save a considerable amount of money, not only regarding parts and services, but with minimal to no loss of production. Walk Route Data Collection - TVS has multiple Mobius Institute certified technicians (CAT II & CAT III) who can collect data in the field, whether it be on one or one thousand assets. We can create a custom-tailored program for your site, collecting vibration data on all your critical assets. Vibration Analysis - With this information, TVS will comb through and take the time to analyze every piece of data. We will provide you with a detailed monthly, weekly, or daily criticality report each time a route is completed and will easily be able to determine a timeline for each asset based on their performance over time.
